COMPETENCY
Proud Hudsonville Eagle, and yet had to play hockey on the West Ottawa team.
After Hudsonville, I went on to graduate from Grand Rapids Community College.
After graduation from GRCC I wanted to scratch my itch to get outside but also learn construction plans and how to construct things with steel. 14+ years later as an Ironworker- not a single regret! During that time, I have also been a Foreman.
I have done a ton of work on medical facilities – Mercy Health, Mary Free Bed, UM Hospital. I even played a role in building the biggest parking ramp in Denver, CO.
FUN FACTS
I work to be a solid teammate and cover shifts during hunting season, because winter is my jam. I love riding snowmobiles and make it a point to get out west and the U.P. each season. In addition to snowmobiling, as a family we like to travel and camp in the National Parks. Get our Henry David Thoreau on!
While my newborn keeps me rather busy, I do like to kick back and watch some sporting event, primarily my Michigan Wolverines!
I am the family cook. From the stove to the grill, I master it all. The spicier the better!
