COMPETENCY
An active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, beginning my career at one of the Big Four public accounting firms as an auditor and working my way up to Senior Assurance Associate.
I enjoy seeing the process of physical construction that begins long before building phase with the financial modeling and accounting to make it all a reality.
FUN FACTS
While at Calvin University I received multiple letters in Track and Field, specializing in shot put, hammer, and discus, spending two seasons as team captain.
Outside of work, any time spent camping, fishing, golfing, or traveling is time well spent in my book. I spent a semester in Budapest and loved exploring the culture; however, my Dutch 6’7 frame did result in a tight quarters there.
I drink at least two gallons of milk a week while I continue to train and compete in discus with a past Olympian trainer.
One goal of mine is to qualify for the 2024 Olympic trials with a distance throw of 60 meters. 5 meters to go!
